MEET JAMI

Jami Kalmbach was first drawn to Givingmas by its powerful impact on families in the community, and she is excited to bring her passion and expertise to the board as the organization grows and scales its mission. She looks forward to contributing more directly to the work of Givingmas and supporting the families it serves.

After earning her Bachelor of Business Administration from Concordia University in Austin, Jami built a diverse career spanning higher education, software startups, and corporate finance. She developed niche expertise in financial systems, change management, and acquisition integrations, ultimately playing key roles in major transformation projects at Fortune 500 company Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). Today, Jami works as an independent consultant while also serving as the “chief operating officer” of her busy young family.

A committed community volunteer, Jami has held numerous leadership roles in Dallas, including with the Junior League of Dallas, PTA, and the Site-Based Decision-Making committees for Geneva Heights Elementary and Sudie TAG Academy. She was also a founding board member of Pre-Geneva, a nonprofit formed with friends and neighbors to encourage families to choose local public education.

Jami lives in the Lower Greenville area with her husband, Eric, and their two children, Wilhelmina and Franklin. When not cheering on the kids at soccer, baseball, or martial arts, the family enjoys road-tripping to national parks, relaxing on the beach, or spending time with friends in their beloved East Dallas.
