With 36 years of experience as an elementary school teacher, Sandra has devoted her career to fostering a love of learning in young minds. Passionate about reading and writing, she has always believed in the power of storytelling to educate, inspire, and empower. Her classrooms have been places where every student feels valued and supported, reflecting her commitment to equity and compassion.

Now retired from teaching, Sandra is eager to channel her dedication to education into her nonprofit work, helping families gain the tools and confidence to move forward. She sees her role at Givingmas as an opportunity to extend her lifelong mission of nurturing growth—this time beyond the classroom and into the community.
