Givingmas, Inc. is a registered non-profit 501c (3) organization based in Dallas, Texas, that believes real change happens when we show up for each other. What started as a seasonal act of generosity has grown into a year-round movement of walking alongside families as they overcome barriers and build lasting stability, one step at a time.

MISSION
Givingmas envisions a future where families in every community can achieve lasting stability with the support of neighbors, not handouts. By first building a proven, community-driven model in East Dallas, we aim to create a replicable approach—where families who receive support return as mentors, donors, and leaders, helping others rise behind them. This cycle of transformation seeks to ignite a culture of giving that multiplies hope and resilience across generations.
At Givingmas, our mission is to strengthen communities by identifying and supporting families who are actively working to overcome hardship. We provide a hand up, not a handout, offering short-term, personalized assistance, connections to compassionate donors and community resources, and practical tools that promote long-term stability and lasting change, one family at a time.

We believe financial literacy builds confidence, self-worth, and long-term stability. We work side by side with families to develop personalized, realistic plans for financial growth—including budgeting, saving, and repairing credit—so they can build a future with options, not obstacles.

We believe meaningful employment is essential to family independence. Whether someone is underemployed or exploring new opportunities, we help families identify professional goals and remove barriers to progress. We challenge each person to grow and commit to walking with them through the journey.

We believe in fresh starts. We recognize that circumstances don’t change overnight—but progress happens one decision at a time. We help families look forward, not back, and commit to staying engaged as long as they are actively working toward change.
HOW GIVINGMAS SUPPORTS FAMILIES
Each family’s journey begins with a nomination and a comprehensive needs assessment. From there, we build a tailored support plan. Families don’t follow a fixed curriculum; instead, they access only the services relevant to their goals and challenges. We meet regularly to track progress, adjust support, and celebrate wins.
Our Team
Givingmas is led by our CEO and Founder, Mike, the organization’s sole full-time staff member. He’s supported by a dedicated team of volunteer board members and community leaders who give their time, expertise, and heart to help families thrive. Together, we’re proof that a small team can make a big impact.
