About the event
Givingmas is proud to partner with For the Love of the Lake for a recurring volunteer event that brings together community, environmental stewardship, and service. On the second Saturday of every odd-numbered month, we gather at White Rock Lake to clean up trails, collect litter, and help preserve one of Dallas' most treasured outdoor spaces.
This is more than a trash pickup. It's an opportunity for families, friends, and neighbors to spend time together, enjoy the outdoors, and make a meaningful impact in our community. Volunteers of all ages are welcome, and gloves, bags, and other supplies are provided. Whether you stay for an hour or the entire morning, every helping hand makes a difference.
We meet at 8:30 a.m. at the corner of Lawther and Emerald Isle. Look for the Givingmas flag!
