Meet Raven

In September 2025, Givingmas joined forces with Raven - a mother, a student, and a worker. After experiencing trauma and lack of family support, she and her children [Marceline 6 and Marcellus 3] entered transitional housing at Restored Hope Ministries. At that time, Raven was attending school full-time at Ogle Esthetician School and supplementing her income with Door Dash and by contributing plasma. Raven has since graduated and passed her written and practical licensure exams. Her first priority is full-time employment in the skincare field. Next, Raven hopes to tackle her debt, improve her credit score, and gain independence. Her long term goals are furthering her education to become an RN who can do injections and owning her own home. 

Raven continues to work on “thriving not just surviving”.

• a rent increase and utilities 

• esthetician exams and license

• summer daycamp 

• résumé and employment coaching
